Job description

Position Title:Bicycle Mechanic

Reports To:Rental Manager; Director of Rental and Retail

Employment Status:Seasonal; Full / Part Time

Job Summary:

Our bicycle mechanics are the initial point of contact with guests and must drive a positive guest experience through answering questions, problem-solving, and upselling products and other Brundage services. Bicycle Mechanic will complete bike service efficiently and expertly to help maintain our customers' equipment at the highest level. This position also assists with rental equipment fit and sizing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares rental equipment for customers
  • Performs daily inspections of rental bikes
  • Completes basic tune / bike shop services
  • Encourages upgrades for customers
  • Obtains basic knowledge of product lines to encourage sales of bikes and accessories

Job Qualifications:

  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Basic computer skill knowledge
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for the ski industry is a plus
  • Prior guest service experience preferred
  • Available to work holidays and weekends
  • Mountain biking experience and ability to ride our trail system
  • Previous bicycle mechanic experience
