Job Overview
 We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and some assembly various fitness equipment in both commercial and residential settings. You will ensure that our clients have safe and functional equipment to support their fitness goals. Interviews will take place in our Somerville, NJ or Fairfield, NJ location.
  

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and assembly on  a variety of fitness equipment, including treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, and weight machines.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter to ensure proper functionality of equipment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding equipment performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used for each job.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a technician or mechanic, preferably in the fitness industry or related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
