Bicycle and Scooter Repair Technician/Driver - Hybrid (W2 Employee)
Location: 7525 Pennsylvania Ave., Suite 102, Sarasota, FL 34243
Pay: $17.00/hour (W2 Employee)
Schedule: Sat - Sun 12:00 PM - 6 PM
Important: Candidates must have reliable transportation to commute to and from the warehouse. A valid driver's license is required, as this role includes driving a company vehicle to complete field-related tasks.

Job Summary
Veo is seeking mechanically inclined Repair Technicians to maintain and repair our fleet of electric bikes and scooters. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and helping keep our communities safe and sustainable. Previous experience repairing vehicles, bicycles, scooters, motorcycles, or similar equipment is preferred, but electric vehicle experience is not required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs on Veo's electric bikes and scooters, from basic maintenance to major component replacements
  • Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to ensure all vehicles meet safety standards
  • Track and document maintenance records using Veo's mobile applications
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of replacement parts and repair supplies
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and operating efficiently
  • Assist with field operations, including battery swaps and fleet redistribution as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
  • At least 1 year of maintenance, mechanical, or automotive repair experience
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass a 5-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check
  • Comfortable using smartphone apps and technology
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull electric bikes and scooters weighing up to 80 lbs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
Nice to Have
  • Experience repairing bicycles, scooters, motorcycles, automobiles, or similar equipment
  • Basic knowledge of electronics or electrical systems
  • Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or fleet maintenance environments
