Job description

Position Purpose:

This position will report to the Director of Human Resources. It warrants a high degree of judgment and diplomacy, as well as an impeccable commitment to confidentiality and professionalism. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, administrative support, special project assistance, preparation of data and documents, and handling correspondence along with other diverse duties.

Essential Duties:

  • Handle confidential information.
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including mail, faxes, and emails.
  • Coordinate and arrange meeting details and invitations.
  • Maintain and manage paper and electronic filing systems.
  • Inventory of HR Office Supplies.
  • Coordinate maintenance of office equipment.
  • Maintains and organizes records both electronic and hard copy.
  • Assists in special projects as requested to achieve overall Ministry objectives.
  • Resolve administrative problems and inquiries.
  • Prepare agendas for meetings and prepare schedules.
  • Prepare written responses to routine inquiries
  • Maintain & Create reports.
  • Assist with travel arrangements.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Supports compliance withthe employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • High degree of organizational ability
  • Proficiency in calendar management and scheduling
  • Familiarity with office equipment and procedures
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information
  • Experience in preparing reports and presentations
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Must be able to effectively operate a Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite

Requirements:

  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Must sign the Statement of Faith.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent education is required
  • Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
  • Must pass all required checks

Experience:

  • Minimum experience of 1-2 years in an administrative role or equivalent
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience.
