Job description

We are seeking an Intermediate Power BI Developer to develop and sustain data visualizations and dashboards to support operational reporting and decision-making in a secure enterprise environment. This role builds accurate, well-modeled Power BI solutions, integrates approved data sources, and ensures reporting outputs remain reliable, maintainable, and aligned to governance constraints. *This position is contingent upon contract award.* Responsibilities: * Gather and analyze business and reporting requirements from stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support data-driven decision-making and organizational objectives.
* Integrate and manage data from multiple approved sources, including databases, SharePoint lists, spreadsheets, and cloud-based systems, performing data extraction, transformation, and modeling activities using Power Query and related technologies.
* Develop and optimize advanced calculations, measures, and business logic using DAX to deliver meaningful insights, key performance indicators, and interactive reporting capabilities.
* Validate data accuracy, troubleshoot report refresh and performance issues, and implement enhancements to improve dashboard usability, scalability, reliability, and overall reporting efficiency.
* Maintain comprehensive documentation of datasets, data models, report logic, and sustainment procedures while providing user support, knowledge transfer, and training to ensure effective adoption and ongoing relevance of reporting solutions.
* Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Years of Experience: 3+ years Power BI / Power Platform development experience.
* Education Level: High school diploma/GED.
* Clearance Requirements: Must have active Top Secret (TS) clearance.
* Certification Requirements: Microsoft PL-300 (preferred) and/or PL-200/PL-900 (preferred).
* Travel may be required for position.
* Any other work-related qualifications needed for the role: Strong DAX and Power Query skills; understanding of governance constraints; ability to build role-aware reporting when required.
