What jobs can I get with a BFA degree?
A Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) is an undergraduate degree that centers on visual arts and provides specialized training. There are many different fields of focus with a BFA, such as photography, theater, dance, art history, production, sculpture, and graphic design. With this degree, the jobs open to you vary, depending on what industry you want to enter. Those who focus on the visual arts can become a professional artist and create new pieces to display and sell in an art gallery. The administrative side of museums and art galleries need curators and art directors. If you have a graphic design concentration, you can seek positions as a graphic designer at a marketing firm or animator at a movie studio.
