Job description

The BFA Photography program is seeking a knowledgeable, dedicated, and enthusiastic student to join our team supporting programmatic events and End of Year festivities. This person will be working closely with program leadership and the program administrator, supporting the program on internal curricular events, including year-based Critique Days and the end-of-year Thesis Exhibition.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties for this position include:
  • Support the BFA Photography Program in all public events, including the Visiting Artist lecture series and End of Year festivities. Help with setup and breakdown of events.
  • Create visual marketing materials (posters) for public and curricular events.
  • Design and print wall labels for BFA Photography Thesis Exhibition.
  • Update the BFA Photography Thesis website with student works.
  • Support BFA Photography Thesis Exhibition installation and de-installation. Help to direct students in the gallery space during drop-off and pick-up.
  • Attend, when possible, programmatic events.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Fluency in the Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign).
  • Design skills to create posters / flyers for public and program events.
  • Strong communication skills and responsiveness to emails.
  • Timely submission of work.
  • Strong work ethic.

WORK MODE
โ€ข Hybrid - Employees hired for this position primarily work remotely with the occasional on-campus presence required with advanced notice. Employees in this role will also be expected to use their best judgment to be on campus when necessary in order to best fulfill the responsibilities of their job descriptions. #LI-DNI
HOURLY RATE
  • $21 per hour
  • 5-10 hours a week for 5 weeks
