Location: Fremont
Type: Full-time
Reports to: Creative Director
Hybrid-1 day remote and 4 in-office.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Hyve Solutions is looking for a Graphic Design Lead to help lead brand design across high-visibility touchpoints, Marketing Collateral, events, web, social, motion/video, and executive communications, while building scalable systems that make the team faster and more consistent.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a designer with excellent taste and strong people leadership. You'll translate complex hyperscale infrastructure stories into clear, enterprise-ready creative, and you'll define how AI is used responsibly to accelerate concepting and production without compromising quality or brand integrity.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Design & Craft
- Deliver high-quality, polished design across brand, marketing, communications, and product experiences.
- Create and evolve comprehensive design systems that scale across campaigns, digital platforms, product storytelling visuals, and internal communications.
- Design across brand, marketing, communications, and product-adjacent touchpoints (launch visuals, diagrams, demos, technical storytelling assets).
Conceptual & Systems Thinking
- Lead ideation and concept development, translating complex ideas into simple, impactful creative solutions.
- Apply systems thinking to ensure visual consistency, scalability, and long-term brand integrity.
- Create brand systems, behaviors, and visual languages with a high level of craftsmanship.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate with creatives, marketing leads, product managers, product marketers, engineers, producers, and program managers.
- Balance stakeholder needs while advocating for design excellence.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback and guide creative direction when needed.
- Mentor junior designers, and partners.
- Act as a project lead, setting direction, running critiques, and ensuring consistency across designers and partners.
Execution & Delivery
- Own projects end-to-end, from concept through final delivery.
- Ensure timely delivery of assets that meet creative and project objectives.
- Maintain clean, organized, and shareable files.
- Participate in critiques and foster a culture of excellence and feedback.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • BFA or BA in Design, Visual Communication, or related field or equivalent professional experience
  • 8+ years of experience in graphic design and art direction.
  • Proven experience building design systems across communications, marketing, and product.
  • Portfolio demonstrating branding (typography, illustration, photography), campaigns, and data visualization.
  • Expertise in branding, photography direction, and motion design.
  • Strong presentation design skills (executive and customer-facing).
  • Experience creating content across static, motion, and interactive formats.
  • Experience using generative AI to accelerate ideation and production, with strong judgment around quality, accuracy, and brand safety (preferred).
  • Strong appreciation for aesthetics, user experience, accessibility, and inclusive design.
  • Adaptable, curious, and comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Detail-oriented from concept to final output.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
  • Consistently delivering high-quality, polished design.
  • Bringing ideas, not just execution.
  • Collaborating openly across teams.
  • Building scalable systems, not one-off solutions.
  • Raising the creative bar through craft, feedback, and leadership.
  • Mentoring and supporting designers

Salary Range- $135,000 - $150,000
