Come join Joshua Tree Experts - Tampa, FL as a Plant Health Care Technician where you will manage as assigned territory of residential and commercial properties providing integrated PHC and Pest management treatments.Duties and Responsibilities:Complete daily assigned work in a timely, efficient mannerBuild professional and trusting relationships with clientsPrepare truck daily by ensuring proper product selection and promotional materialsDiagnose and treat a variety of common issues related to ornamental tree and shrubsRecommend treatments to clients to improve overall health of tree and shrubsIdentify issues related to other Joshua Tree Experts provided services Provide excellent customer service to new and existing clientsOperate all assigned equipment in a safe mannerComplete daily truck inspections and identify needed maintenance servicesPerform basic maintenance to vehicles and equipment, notify Department Supervisor of needed repairs above and beyond technicians capabilitiesComplies with all safety rules and regulations regarding vehicles and equipmentComplete all paperwork and product information accuratelyMeet or exceed daily production goals Meet or exceed performance goals, as assigned by Department Supervisor Perform other duties as assignedRequired Skills and Abilities:Excellent ability to be self-motivated and drivenStrong ability to communicate effectivelyStrong ability to be organized and efficientAbility to utilize plant health care equipment including but not limited to spray rig, backpack sprayer, air spade, and other arboriculture equipmentAbility to identify and diagnose ornamental tree and shrub issuesAbility to identify hazardous situationsMust be able to work 40 hours per weekMust be able to work overtime and weekends, if necessaryRequired Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GEDValid Driver's LicenseExperience in plant health care application services, is preferredPesticide Applicators License in CORE and CAT 6, is preferredPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs at one time, repeatedly throughout the dayMust be able to bend, stoop, walk up steep hills while pushing or dragging equipment
