Job description

Black Bear Talent is recruiting a Beverage Manager to lead and elevate the experience within a dynamic full service dining environment. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, developing high performing teams, and delivering a best in class program that enhances the overall guest experience. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, a passion for hospitality, and a proven ability to build, train, and inspire front of house teams. (This position is a direct hire role)

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a visible leader who consistently models and reinforces company values and culture

• Direct and optimize all bar operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and an exceptional guest experience

• Strategically manage staffing to maintain optimal bartender coverage at all times

• Lead the recruitment and selection process for front of house team members

• Champion daily execution of training and development programs to drive consistency and performance

• Own and continuously update all beverage and bartender training materials to reflect current offerings and standards

• Design and implement new training content to support cocktail innovation and promotional initiatives

• Deliver ongoing bartender training sessions focused on quality, service excellence, and responsible alcohol service

• Create and manage training schedules for newly promoted bartenders to ensure smooth transitions and success

• Certify and mentor front of house trainers to uphold high training standards across the team

• Actively develop and coach front of house team members to support growth and retention

• Foster an inclusive, respectful, and team oriented work environment

• Contribute to leadership strategy through active participation in weekly management meetings

• Drive strong communication and collaboration between front of house and back of house teams

• Lead by example during shifts to ensure seamless operations

• Plan and execute beverage focused promotions, special events, and holiday programming
