This property features 148 modern hotel rooms and suites, a 32-lane Bowling Center with full Snack Bar, an RV Park, full-service Sports Book the ever-popular Grille Restaurant.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create weekly employee schedule for all events
  • Read all BEO's, make sure they are current and updated for the event
  • Order all linen, and banquet supplies used on a daily basis
  • Assist in any banquet, serving, plating up food, set up or clean up
  • Ring banquet ticket and collect revenue
  • Make sure all Banquets are in Opera and have a working knowledge of its use
  • Attend meetings with the Sales Team regarding upcoming meetings
  • Attend weekly BEO meetings
  • Be available to assist all departments in any conference room needs
  • Be available for all Banquets room activities
  • Oversees employees in the areas of: food preparation and handling, personal hygiene and uniform requirements, cleaning and sanitation, order processing, cash register, opening and closing procedures, customer service, inventory and stocking
  • Ensure service excellence by fostering a positive guest experience and proactively addressing customer concerns
  • Ensure proper product quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Maintain all sanitation and health department requirements
  • Assist in all F&B personnel hiring and training
  • Implement proper chain of command leadership
  • Assist in maintaining and guiding all F&B personnel training, records, scheduling, development, and discipline for assigned shifts

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Experience in training staff
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the food service industry
  • Must have current Food Handlers Certification through Carson City Health and Human Services Department
  • Previous experience in banquets or food and beverage business
