2K's Cat Daddy studio, based in Kirkland, Washington, was started 25+ years ago by industry veterans and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive within the 2K Label. The studio is a fun, dedicated family of incredibly hardworking game developers. We have shipped games on almost every genre and platform, with a current focus on mobile games.
What We Need:
We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated Mobile User Acquisition Manager to join our Mobile Marketing Team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Mobile User Acquisition, this role will work with a number of stakeholders to grow our existing mobile games as well as supporting future titles. This position will emphasize game-specific audience, creative, and optimization strategies. You will be responsible for the execution of these strategies as well as sharing the findings and next steps to cross-functional teams.
The role is inherently collaborative. Key departments that the role will interact with are: Product PMM, Creative, and Analytics teams. The role requires clear communication of complex strategies in a visual and accessible manner. This requires you to work onsite in the Cat Daddy studio location in Kirkland, WA.
What You Will Do:
  • Development and implementation of world-class new user acquisition and retargeting strategies.
  • Build, run, monitor, test and optimize campaigns (e.g. social, search, DSP, etc) to increase performance.
  • Be proficient in current and future mobile advertising trends, including proactively introducing new advertising channels, purposefully testing new optimization methods, advocating for new ad formats and having a growth hack mentality.
  • Take ownership of creative testing from concept to completion. Drive performance marketing creative strategy, establish A/B testing framework.
  • Monitor & measure creative performance to evaluate how UA optimizations and changes influence results.
  • Identify areas of improvement by analyzing performance, convert data into actionable insights.
  • Test and define a strategy for channel-specific creatives.
  • Proactively introduce new technology for automation and operational efficiency.
  • Cultivate business relationships with ad partners and unlock alpha/beta testing opportunities.

  • Proven experience in mobile user acquisition.
  • Consistent record of successfully managing and scaling UA, retargeting and creative strategies.
  • Strong problem solver who thinks strategically. Able to breakdown and prioritize problems, assess opportunity areas, develop big ideas and priorities, and mobilize teams and resources to move the business forward.
  • Deep understanding on funnel and conversion metrics. Requires experience working in a metrics-based environment.
  • Experience in data collection, analysis and reporting from multiple sources.
  • Understanding of UA and creative dashboards from different platforms.
  • Proven experience building processes and exit targets for creative testing at high velocity (~50 new creatives per month).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheet skills

The pay range for this position in Washington at the start of employment is expected to be between $100,200 and $148,320 per year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
