We are looking for full-time Welders/Fabricators at our Tonawanda, NY location. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming raw materials into finished goods, using your skills in heavy industrial welding and fabrication to meet and exceed project specifications


Responsibilities

  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in compliance with safety standards.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to project specifications.
  • Primary welding processes performed MIG, TIG, Flux Core, RMD.
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning.
  • Inspect welded surfaces and structures to identify and repair defects.
  • Cut and shape metal materials using various cutting tools such as plasma cutters and oxy-fuel torches.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve fabrication issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials used and time spent on each project.
  • Ensure work is completed on time and meets quality standards.
  • Adhere to company and industry safety regulations during all welding and fabrication activities.


Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in large industrial welding and fabrication.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
  • Strong knowledge of metal properties and best welding practices.
  • Experience with operating hand and power tools relevant to welding.
  • Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and micrometers.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various positions and environments.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
