TIG Welder - Precision, Craftsmanship, and Innovation
Job Title: Senior TIG Welder (2nd shift 2:00PM-10:00 PM)

Responsibilities:
  • Expert Welding & Fabrication: Execute high-quality TIG welds (and other techniques like MIG and Stick as needed) to fabricate and repair components with precision.
  • Blueprint Mastery: Read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and schematics to determine the best welding approach.
  • Material Expertise: Work with steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals, selecting the right materials and consumables for each job.
  • Quality-Driven Work: Inspect and test welds to ensure strength, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Advanced Machine Operation: Utilize welding machines, grinders, cutters, and other fabrication tools to prepare materials and achieve a flawless finish.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Keep welding tools and machinery in peak condition with regular inspections and basic maintenance.
  • Safety & Efficiency: Adhere to all safety protocols, maintain a clean workspace, and ensure all procedures meet industry standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with machinists, engineers, and inspectors to deliver top-tier products on time.
  • Repair & Customization: Modify, repair, and enhance metal structures and components as needed.
  • Process Documentation: Track materials, project timelines, and any challenges encountered to maintain production efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a TIG welder (4-5 years in a machine shop or industrial setting).
  • Ability to work with various metals, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
  • Strong blueprint-reading skills and knowledge of welding symbols.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to inspect and test precision welds.
  • Skilled in operating machine shop tools such as grinders, cutters, and drills.
  • A team player with a problem-solving mindset and a strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of welding safety regulations and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Welding certifications (AWS Certified Welder, MIG/TIG certification, etc.).
  • Experience with CNC machines or automated welding systems.
