Job Title: Java Full Stack Developer Lead

Location: Tampa, FL (Onsite – 5 Days/Week)
Duration: Long-Term Contract

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer Lead to design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, Microservices, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS, and Oracle, along with strong leadership and architectural experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build cloud-native, event-driven applications while mentoring developers and driving engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect, design, and develop scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
  • Build responsive front-end applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Design and implement microservices-based architectures with high availability, resilience, and observability.
  • Develop event-driven applications using Apache Kafka, including topic design, consumer groups, and messaging patterns.
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate distributed systems.
  • Deploy, manage, and scale applications on Kubernetes and AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch).
  • Design and optimize Oracle database schemas, SQL queries, and PL/SQL stored procedures.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and UI/UX teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement performance improvements.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation for efficient software delivery.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java Full Stack Development.
  • Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience building front-end applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Deep understanding of Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, and Distributed Systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes and AWS cloud services.
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, schema design, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.

  • Experience in the Healthcare Payments domain (Claims Processing, EDI 835/837, Remittance, Prior Authorization, Payer-Provider Integrations).
