Senior Project Manager: Large Scale Automotive Projects

A highly successful Company with a facility in the Greater Detroit area is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager in their Industrial Construction Group for Direct Hire opportunities with their growing team. These are excellent opportunities for Project Managers looking for career growth, or for experienced Project Managers. Project Manager salaries are anticipated to be $150,000-$180,000/year based on each candidates' experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. We offer excellent benefits including medical, dental, 401k matching, bonuses, and more!

Qualified candidates will have most (if not all) of the following skills and experience:

* 3 years of Installation and Integration experience with Paint Finishing Systems, or 3 years of similar Process Engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related BS degree)

* Recent and relevant experience managing Industrial Construction, Industrial Ventilation, or Automotive Paint Finishing Installation Projects or closely related galvanizing, plating, aluminizing or equivalent project.

* Experience controlling projects to achieve minimal manufacturing costs and schedule targets.

* Excellent technical communication skills for working with customers, labor, and staff.

* Excellent skills with scheduling, time management, and deadlines.ย  Experience with MS Project required.

* Solid skills with leading teams, tracking project schedule, milestones, etc.

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including electrical and structural drawings.

* Must be able to technically define problems and propose solutions

* Must be willing to travel up to 50% overnight when needed.

* Must be able to work in the US and complete standard background, reference, drug screen, etc.
