Job description

Benefits Administrator

Location: Miami, FL – Blue Lagoon Area

Pay: Up to $30/hour

Type: Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire

Now Hiring: Benefits Administrator

TempExperts is partnering with a well-established organization in the Blue Lagoon area of Miami seeking an experienced Benefits Administrator to join its People/HR team.

This is a great opportunity for a benefits professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has hands-on experience with benefits administration, leave management, payroll-related benefits processing, employee support, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, STD/LTD, FSA, HSA, EAP, and voluntary benefits

• Process new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, status changes, terminations, and benefit updates

• Support leave of absence administration, including FMLA, disability, benefit continuation, and return-to-work processes

• Review benefit deductions and perform payroll audits, reconciliations, corrections, refunds, and arrears tracking

• Partner with Payroll and HR to research and resolve benefit and deduction discrepancies

• Coordinate with benefit carriers, brokers, third-party administrators, and vendors

• Review carrier invoices, eligibility reports, and benefit-related data for accuracy

• Maintain accurate employee benefit information across HRIS, payroll, and benefits platforms

• Support 401(k) administration, contribution reviews, audits, and compliance activities

• Assist with annual open enrollment, employee communications, system testing, and post-enrollment audits

• Respond to employee benefit questions and provide timely, professional support

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in Benefits Administration, Total Rewards, or payroll-related benefits processing

• Strong knowledge of benefits and payroll processes, deductions, reconciliations, and system integrations

• Experience supporting leave of absence and disability administration

• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-volume environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Experience with ADP, PlanSource, FMLA Source, or similar benefits systems preferred

• Union benefits administration experience is a plus

• Retirement plan and compliance audit experience is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered
