Job description

Full-Time or Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Asbury Solomons | Solomons, MD
Benchmark Therapies is looking for Full-Time and Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistants to join our team at Asbury Solomons, a welcoming senior living community in Solomons, Maryland.
This could be a great fit for a PTA who enjoys working with older adults and wants to be part of a supportive, collaborative therapy team. At Benchmark, we believe clinicians do their best work when they feel trusted, respected, and able to focus on thoughtful, individualized care.
What You'll Do
  • Provide skilled physical therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Help residents improve strength, balance, mobility, safety, confidence, and independence
  • Carry out individualized treatment plans based on each resident's needs and goals
  • Support residents in staying active, engaged, and as independent as possible
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, nursing staff, and other members of the care team
  • Communicate resident progress, concerns, and changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation using Net Health and facility systems
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive therapy environment
What We're Looking For
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Active Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing
  • A genuine interest in working with older adults
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented approach
