Physical Therapy Assistant Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team at Shore Acres Care Center, a state-of-the-art sub-acute medical care facility in St. Petersburg, Florida. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality physical therapy services to our residents. With a focus on excellent patient care and a supportive work environment, we offer flexible schedules, and competitive hourly rates.
Physical Therapy Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Conduct screenings of residents as scheduled for referral to Physical Therapist
  • Contribute objective data to Physical Therapists as allowed by scope of practice
  • Provide Physical Therapy treatment to residents when indicated per the plan of care
  • Actively engage and contribute to the success of the rehab department, IDT, and facility success
Physical Therapy Assistant Qualifications:
  • Minimum of Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program
  • A current Florida PTA License
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Must be computer/tech-savvy
