Job description

Travel Physical Therapist

Location: Asbury Methodist Village | Gaithersburg, Maryland
Assignment: Full-Time, 13-Week Travel Contract
Start Date: As soon as possible
Compensation: $80–$85 per hour
Weekly Guarantee: 35 hours

Benchmark Therapies is looking for a Travel Physical Therapist to join our team at Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

This 13-week assignment could be a great fit for a PT who enjoys working with older adults and wants the flexibility of travel therapy while still feeling connected to the team and community they serve.

About Asbury Methodist Village

Asbury Methodist Village is a well-established continuing care retirement community located on a beautiful 134-acre campus. The community offers independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation services.

Because residents have access to multiple levels of care, therapists have the opportunity to work with a diverse senior population and support a wide range of mobility, balance, safety, and functional goals.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide skilled physical therapy services to older adults
  • Complete evaluations and develop individualized plans of care
  • Help residents improve strength, balance, mobility, safety, and independence
  • Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and other interdisciplinary team members
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation
  • Provide thoughtful, resident-centered care
What We’re Looking For
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current Maryland Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
  • A dependable, flexible, and team-oriented approach
  • Experience working with older adults is helpful, but not required
