Nelson Coleman Jewelers is a family-owned business with generations of jewelry expertise, proudly serving our local community. We're looking for a skilled Bench Jeweler to join our Inwood, WV team - someone who takes pride in their craft and wants to be part of a close-knit, supportive shop where your work genuinely matters to the people walking through our door.

POSITION DETAILS

  • Full-Time • Technical Services Department • Reports to Store Manager
  • Location: Inwood, WV (Eastern Panhandle)
  • Work environment: In-shop repair workshop; personal protective equipment provided and required

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Create custom jewelry pieces from designer specifications
  • Perform jewelry repairs, sizing, and restoration
  • Conduct quality assurance checks before delivery
  • Provide technical consultation to our sales team
  • Manage project timelines and communicate updates with the Repair Coordinator and Store Manager

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • High school diploma, GED, or Technical/Vocational equivalent
  • 3+ years of jewelry repair, restoration, and design experience
  • Accredited Jeweler Professional (AJP) certification preferred - we will support the right candidate in obtaining it
  • Working knowledge of precious stones, metals, and cost estimating
  • Dependable, eager to learn, and takes pride in quality work
