Opportunity Details:
Bellin Psychiatric Center / Bellin Behavioral Health in Green Bay, Wisconsin is currently recruiting several Board Eligible / Board Certified inpatient child adolescent psychiatrists to join our team. Our recruitment efforts are driven by the need to meet patient demand and ensure continuity of care as we restructure our care delivery model by adding additional Psychiatrists to our team. For more than 30 years, Bellin Psychiatric Center has been the premier provider of behavioral health and substance use services in Northeast Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. As a division of Bellin Memorial Hospital, we are the sole not-for-profit hospital provider of behavioral health and substance use disorder services in the community. Our psychiatric hospital, situated just 1.5 miles from the main Bellin Hospital Campus, is an 80-bed licensed facility that offers services for children, adolescents, and adults.
In addition, we provide the following comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, all of which are certified by the State of Wisconsin, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid and accredited by Det Norske Veritas (DNV):
  • Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Services
  • Substance Use Intensive Outpatient Services
  • Suboxone/Vivitrol program
  • Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT) - for child/adolescents and adults
  • Outpatient Services, which include:
    - Psychiatric Care (Geriatric, Adult, Adolescent and Child)
    - Consultative Expert Services
    - Advance Practice Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
    - Neuropsychological and Psychological Testing Services
    - Individual, substance use, family, marital, and child therapy services

Shift Hours:

0.8 FTE (35 hours/week), 7 on, 7 off schedule
Practice Details:
  • Large Psychiatry Division within Bellin Health System - 250+ Employees within the Department
  • Teaching opportunities ~ Psychiatric Residency & Child Adolescent Fellowship Programs
  • 7 on 7 off Schedule ~ hours 7A-5P
  • Average patients per day 8-15
  • Child Unit - 10-12 beds
  • Adolescent Unit - 20 beds
  • Great call rotation
  • EMR Epic
  • Competitive Compensation Model:
    - Base Compensation - $300,000
    - Performance Bonus - $40,000
    - Clinical Supervision - $10,000
    - Loan Repayment Assistance - up to $150,000
    - Fellowship Stipend - up to $30,000
  • CME (Continuing Medical Education) $5,000 each fiscal year
  • CTO (Contracted Time Off) 140 hours per fiscal year
