Behavioral Health Transcription Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Located at the Unity Healing Center near Cherokee, NC. This is a leadership position. Purpose is to serve as a Supervisory Behavioral Health Specialist (Clinical Director) to supervise & deliver quality behavioral health services & care to youth with substance use/chemical dependency/co-occurring problems. Provides active & constructive leadership in addition to management.

BASIC REQUIREMENT(S):
Individual Occupational Requirements
Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
or
Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
or
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
In addition to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Experience providing comprehensive substance use disorder assessments, evaluations, individual and group counseling, case management, and evidence-based treatment services for adolescents with substance use and co-occurring behavioral health disorders. Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary treatment teams, families, Tribal programs, schools, and community partners to develop, implement, and coordinate individualized treatment and discharge plans that support long-term recovery. Experience providing a full range of substance use treatment services for youth experiencing substance use disorders, trauma, emotional and behavioral challenges, and personal adjustment issues within a residential treatment setting.
Selective Placement Factor
Professional knowledge of social services as evidenced by possession of a current clinical independent license to practice social work (LCSW) and dually licensed as a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) provider with a license in one of the following: LADC, LAC, CADC, IAADC or reciprocal equivalent is required.
Time In Grade
Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
