Job description

Job Summary: In accordance with the organization's mission, vision and values, the COTI Intake Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination of admissions and client tracking to FLACRA's Residential, Addictions Crisis Center (ACC) Services as well as coordination of COTI clients. The following duties will apply:
Duties
  1. Chair weekly Residential Placement Committee.
  2. Responsible for producing the minutes of the Placement Committee and assuring all updates, distributing these minutes to all Managers and Associate Program Directors and Directors.
  3. Screen referrals to Residential Services and ACC services.
  4. Present all screens to the Placement Committee.
  5. Follow with clients on the outreach board.
  6. Follow up with referral sources to advise of referent status and to request and receive additional required information and/or documents.
  7. Assure all clients placed on wait list receive regular communication as to their status as outlined in COTI policies.
  8. Assist in the organization of meetings, trainings and other agency events as requested.
  9. Maintain, update and distribute informational listings and reports in a timely manner.
  10. Demonstrates teamwork and an ability to work in a team environment with coworkers and supervisors. Demonstrates the ability to be flexible and cooperative.
  11. Participate in general, staff, in-service and supervisory meetings held by the Agency.
  12. Provide appropriate outreach and maintains waitlist for vacancies in coordination with COTI staff.
  13. Provides monthly statistical reporting and data for analysis of residential intake programming.
  14. Complete bed availability system data entry.

Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate, preferably with specialization in business. At least one year of working experience with the ability to type at least 55 wpm, with transcription, Word and Excel experience. Experience and/or training in Behavioral Health/Client Care.
Other Skills/Knowledge and Experience
  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with culturally diverse persons, staff and community service providers.
  3. Ability to multi-task, have good problem solving & time management skills and the ability to remain calm in a crisis.
  4. Provide Crisis Intervention and Mobile Skills
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
