Assists nursing staff in observing and monitoring behavior and physical state of patients with emotional or behavioral problems. Assists patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living in accordance with nursing care plans. Establishes therapeutic relationships with patients and encourages their participation in recreational and other therapeutic activities.
