• Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans that address individual client needs, including crisis plans and behavioral guidelines.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring all records are completed in a timely manner.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to facilitate effective clinical decision-making in accordance with the multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with various teams to implement positive behavior support plans that enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Participate actively in the clinic’s licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the highest standards of care.
• Serve as a liaison to state agencies and community partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Establish partnerships with local resources and organizations to foster program growth and sustainability.
• Engage in continuous personal and professional development opportunities through conferences, training, and community involvement to elevate your counseling practice.
• Embody and promote the agency's mission and values in every interaction with clients and the community.
• Other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the operations and objectives of the clinic.

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals coping with mental health disorders, substance abuse issues, and developmental challenges. Your focus will be on providing personalized care that addresses the unique circumstances of each client, fostering an environment where they can thrive and engage actively in their recovery journey.

• A Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is a prerequisite for this position.
• Possession of an active, independent LMHC license issued by the state board.
• Strong ability to maintain clinical records and prepare thorough reports for review.
• Proficient in working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team environment.
• Exceptional communication skills to express ideas effectively while working with clients and team members.
• A proven ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent clinical decisions based on professional expertise.

Experience working in community mental health settings, familiarity with evidence-based practices, and a background in crisis intervention are preferred. Knowledge of local resources and state regulations is also beneficial to effectively support clients and their families.
