The selected Physician Assistant will work onsite at our modern hospital facility. • Provide complete healthcare services to patients across all age groups, ensuring personalized and thorough assessments.
• Conduct detailed physical examinations and health assessments that facilitate accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, utilizing evidence-based treatment protocols.
• Prescribe necessary medications and treatment plans while considering patient-specific factors.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, management, and healthy lifestyle adaptations to promote overall wellness.
• Collaborate with medical doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to create tailored treatment plans and coordinate care effectively.
• Manage patient follow-up care, referrals, and ensure continuity of care within the healthcare system.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records, complying with legal and ethical standards.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient satisfaction and care outcomes.
• Stay updated on current medical research, evidence-based practices, and emerging healthcare trends to ensure optimal patient care.

The Physician Assistant will primarily work with patients experiencing diverse behavioral health issues. This includes individuals dealing with chronic pain, mood disorders, and anxiety. Understanding the multifaceted needs of our patient population is critical, as our focus is on holistic care that addresses both physical and psychological aspects of health.

• A valid Physician Assistant license in the state of Georgia is required.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) is mandatory.
• Possession of a current DEA number is essential for prescribing medications.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistance is preferred.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, although this is not a requirement.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or hospital setting, preferably in a family practice or behavioral health environment.
• Experience managing a high volume of patients in a fast-paced setting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance documentation and patient care management.
