Working Model: Onsite

As a CTSS In Home Therapist, you will work in our CTSS (Children's Therapeutic Support Services) program. In Home Therapists provide community-based rehabilitative services to children/adolescents, and/or their families depending on the interest areas and experiences of applicants.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide culturally responsive mental health skills to clients and/or their families (if working with children) in the home, community, and/or school.
  • Assist clients in identifying goals for functional improvement and work with them to meet their goals.
  • Design and implement treatment/intervention in-home reflective of client needs.
  • Receive clinical supervision from a qualified staff and obtain continuing education units.

Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, you must be qualified in at least one of the following ways:
  • Meet the Behavioral Health Practitioner requirements as per MN State Statute 245I.04.04. These qualifications include the following:
  • Hold a Master's degree or other graduate degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields
  • Meet the Clinical Trainee requirements per MN State Statute 245I.04.06
  • Has completed an accredited graduate program of study to prepare the staff person for independent licensure as a mental health professional
  • Meet the Mental Health Professional requirements per MN State Statue 245I.04.02
  • Licensed as a LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP in Minnesota

Additionally, you must meet the following requirements:
  • Desire to work with children and families in their homes; this includes walking, stairs, and the ability to crouch, stoop, sit on floors, and stand for periods of time.
  • Ability to work independently; Valid driver's license/auto insurance/reliable vehicle; ability to drive a minimum of a 30-mile radius around primary clinic location.
  • Must be proficient in the use of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • If interested in working with children/adolescents and families must be able to commit to late afternoon/early evening schedule.

Compensation: This is a non-exempt position. Total earnings for this position will range from $25.00 - $30.00 hourly.
*Actual compensation may be determined by various factors such as licensure, experience, skillset, internal equity, schedule and/or location. Estimates are factored on a 1.0 FTE.
* Employees in these positions are W2.
