Job description

We're looking for a Senior Gameplay Programmer to play a key role in bringing a AAA title to players.

Working within the gameplay feature team for a squad based multiplayer game mode, you will contribute to the implementation, polishing and bug fixing of mediumtolarge scale gameplay features. If you thrive on challenging yourself technically, taking ownership of complex features, and collaborating closely with designers to turn vision into reality, we want to hear from you!
In this role you will:
  • Work as part of an Agile Scrum team, participate in daily standups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
  • Take ownership of planning and executing work through Jira tasks.
  • Polish, bug fix and own mediumtolarge scale gameplay features in Unreal Engine 5, focusing on bringing the gameplay experience to the next level
  • Write and maintain highperforming, scalable C++ gameplay code and Unreal Engine Blueprints, with a strong focus on quality, readability, and longterm maintainability.
  • Collaborate closely within a crossdisciplinary team, especially with designers, to translate design intent into deliverable features through rapid prototyping, iteration, and polish.
  • Provide scoping and estimation on upcoming work as well as clear updates on progress
What are we looking for:
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as a proactive problemsolver, breaking down high level requirements into clear tasks and deliverables.
  • 5+ years of professional programming experience, with proven experience working with Unreal Engine 4/5.
  • Strong experience developing 3Cs and/or combat related features in Unreal Engine within a production environment.
  • Strong experience writing and maintaining C++ code and blueprints in Unreal Engine, with a solid understanding of modern C++ language features and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate implementation details, tradeoffs, risks, and engage the right stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Experience implementing or working on vehicle systems (bonus)
Dans ce role, tu devras:
  • Travailler au sein d'une equipe Agile Scrum, participer aux reunions quotidiennes, a la planification des sprints, aux revues et aux retrospectives;

  • Collaborer etroitement au sein d'une equipe pluridisciplinaire, en particulier avec les designers et designeuses, afin de traduire l'intention de conception en fonctionnalites livrables par le biais de prototypage rapide, d'iterations et de polissage;
  • Fournir le cadrage et les estimations du travail a venir ainsi que des mises a jour claires sur l'avancement.
Que recherchons-nous:
  • Capacite demontree a travailler de maniere autonome en tant que personne proactive orientee resolution de problemes, en decomposant des exigences de haut niveau en taches et livrables clairs;
  • 5 ans et plus d'experience professionnelle en programmation, avec une experience averee de travail avec Unreal Engine 4/5;
  • Solide experience dans le developpement de fonctionnalites liees aux 3C et/ou au combat dans Unreal Engine, au sein d'un environnement de production;
  • Solide experience dans l'ecriture et la maintenance de code C++ et de Blueprints dans Unreal Engine, avec une bonne comprehension des fonctionnalites modernes du langage C++ et des meilleures pratiques;
  • Excellentes competences en communication, avec la capacite d'articuler les details d'implementation, les compromis, les risques, et d'impliquer les bonnes parties prenantes afin de resoudre efficacement les problematiques;
  • Experience dans l'implementation ou le travail sur des systemes de vehicules (atout).

Nous recherchons une Programmeurse Seniore Jouabilite pour jouer un role cle dans la mise entre les mains des joueurs et joueuses d'un titre AAA.

En travaillant au sein de l'equipe de fonctionnalites de jouabilite pour un mode multijoueur en escouade, tu contribueras a l'implementation, au polissage et a la correction de bogues de fonctionnalites de jouabilite de moyenne a grande envergure.
