Blight: Survival is a cooperative action-horror game set in a brutal medieval world. Face monstrous foes in visceral 3rd person combat as your journey through beautifully decaying lands where every encounter is a tense battle for survival.
 
We are looking for a Senior VFX Artist to join our passionate team working on Blight: Survival. You'll collaborate with a team of veterans professionals to produce high-quality VFX's that meet the project's ambitious standards. This is a unique opportunity to help shape one of the most anticipated and wishlisted games on Steam.
In this role you will:
  • Bring the artistic directior vision's to life by creating high-quality VFX.
  • Act as a bridge between design, art, and tech to find the best ways to add VFX that support and enhance gameplay mechanics.
  • Assist and collaborate with various departments to create and implement effects.
  • Optimize VFX performance across different platforms.
What we're looking for:
  • Strong artistic sense (need to show good looking work that matches the game's vision).
  • Experience creating quality gameplay VFX in video game production.
  • Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine 5, including in-depth expertise with its particle systems.
  • Knowledge of Houdini is a plus.
  • High level of technical and artistic autonomy (someone that's comfortable iterating quickly and has a good sense for improving quality where and when it matters most).
  • Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and ability to work within a team.
Dans ce role, tu devras:
  • Donner vie a la vision de la direction artistique en creant des VFX de haute qualite;

  • Solide sens artistique (capacite a proposer des realisations visuellement attrayantes et en phase avec la vision du jeu);
  • Experience dans la creation de VFX de gameplay de qualite en production de jeux video;
  • Excellente connaissance d'Unreal Engine 5, incluant une expertise approfondie de ses systemes de particules;
  • La connaissance de Houdini constitue un atout;
  • Grande autonomie technique et artistique (personne a l'aise avec l'iteration rapide et sachant ou et quand prioriser l'amelioration de la qualite);
  • Excellentes competences en communication (a l'oral comme a l'ecrit) et aptitude a travailler en equipe.

Le jeu se deroule dans le no man's land entre deux royaumes desesperes enfermes dans une guerre incessante. Dans ce royaume de mort et de decomposition, une nouvelle souche de Blight a surgi des restes de ceux qui sont tombes au combat. Nourrie et renforcee par le sang verse, elle se propage rapidement, transformant l'homme en monstre.
