Job description

Summary: 
The High School Student Success Coordinator will work collaboratively with the high school administration to focus on school safety and security while supporting school behavior as outlined in the campus MTSS structure.


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the high school administrators to monitor the high school campus during the school day.
  • Focus on a student-centered environment and developing meaningful relationships with students, parents, staff, and other members of the school community.
  • MTSS support for behavior and attendance.
  • Member of the Significant Behavior Response Team.
  • Collaborate with campus administration and other necessary staff for threat assessments, MDR's and expulsion hearings.
  • CPI & CPR Certified.  Training will be provided.
  • Schedule and conduct fire, tornado, and lockdown drills.
  • Monitor the high school campus before school, during the school day, and after school.
  • Enforce parking rules.
  • Monitor and review campus-wide camera systems.
  • Assist and/or oversee Home or Away athletic events as requested by the Director of Athletics.
  • Assist in Registration, Graduation, and other main events as assigned by the principal.
  • Assist with school dances (Homecoming, Winterfest, and Prom).
  • Assist an/or oversee Chromebook and other device distribution and collection.
  • Other duties as assigned by building-level administration.


Qualifications:

  • BA or associates degree; teacher certification preferred.
  • Must possess effective communication skills to maintain positive rapport with teacher and students and have the ability to effectively supervise students.
  • Basic computer knowledge is required.

40 hours per week

Compensation:
Level 2 ($15.74 - $18.42 per hour)
