Health Carousel Diagnostic and Psychological Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental and emotional well-being, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans based on client evaluations and collaborative discussions.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions catering to a diverse client base, addressing an array of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and trauma.
• Facilitate couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication skills, conflict resolution, and relationship enhancement.
• Maintain accurate and detailed client records, ensuring timely documentation of progress notes and treatment adjustments.
• Engage in regular progress reviews to adapt treatment plans in accordance with evolving client needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care strategies for clients requiring additional support.
• Deliver crisis intervention and emergency support when needed, ensuring clients in acute distress receive immediate assistance.
• Stay updated with the latest methodologies and best practices in the field of marriage and family therapy through continuous education.
• Advocate for the rights and interests of clients, empowering them to make informed therapy-related decisions.
• Promote self-care practices among clients to enhance their emotional resilience.

Your role as an LMFT will primarily involve working with a wide range of clientele, including adolescents seeking guidance during transitional life stages, adults coping with various life stressors, and couples navigating relationship challenges. Your empathetic approach and ability to build rapport will be pivotal in ensuring effective therapeutic outcomes. You will collaborate with clients to explore their unique experiences and craft personalized therapy sessions tailored to their goals.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Must hold active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist issued by the State Board.
• Strong foundation in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans with timely execution.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication, with a willingness to engage with electronic health record systems.

• Previous experience providing individual therapy and couples therapy is highly desirable.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adults, and families.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and techniques.
