About Norse Roots

Norse Roots is a fast‑growing premium snack brand specializing in kettle‑cooked potato chips fried in 100% beef tallow. We’re building a disruptive national brand and are actively expanding into regional and national retail chains.

We’re looking for an experienced National Retail Sales Manager / Director of Sales to lead chain account expansion, promotions, and key retail relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Drive national and regional retail expansion across grocery, natural, specialty, and club channels
  • Open new retail accounts with major chains
  • Manage key accounts and broker relationships
  • Lead retail promotions, pricing strategy, and trade spend planning
  • Develop and execute sales forecasts and category growth strategies
  • Negotiate distribution, pricing, resets, and promotions
  • Coordinate with supply chain, marketing, and production teams
  • Represent the brand at trade shows and buyer meetings
  • Report directly to company leadership and contribute to strategy
Qualifications
  • 3–10+ years experience selling into national or regional retail chains
  • Proven success in food, CPG, or consumer brand sales (preferred)
  • Strong existing buyer relationships a plus
  • Experience managing brokers and distributors
  • Track record of opening new retail chains
