Work Environment

This position is conducted entirely remotely through our telehealth platform. Clinicians have the flexibility to manage their schedules between Monday and Saturday, allowing for a work-life balance that suits individual preferences. Our group provides robust administrative support, including in-house credentialing and insurance management, so you can focus your energy on what matters mostโ€”helping your clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, families, and groups, utilizing your clinical expertise to identify their specific needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that outline therapeutic goals and interventions, ensuring alignment with evidence-based methodologies.
  • Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, participating in patient rounds and team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment adjustments.
  • Provide case management for assigned patients, facilitating communication and collaboration with relevant community resources and healthcare providers to optimize holistic care.
  • Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities to guide interventions effectively, assisting clients in achieving their service plan objectives.
  • Complete all necessary documentation promptly and accurately, adhering to ethical standards and regulatory requirements to support seamless care delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Beautiful Minds Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients seeking support for various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Your ability to connect with patients from different backgrounds and tailor your approach to their narratives will be critical in fostering trust and rapport.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
  • Willingness to work between 10 to 40 hours per week, with the flexibility to increase hours if needed.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in individual and group therapy practices.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practice.
  • Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
  • Proven ability to engage clients who may be reluctant to commit to treatment.
Compensation and Benefits
