As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the varying needs of diverse clients.
• Organizing daily workloads by evaluating the requirements of new, current, and discharging patients.
• Assessing each patient's medical and mental health history, alongside their current condition, to inform treatment strategies.
• Diagnosing and developing evidence-based treatment plans for a range of mental health issues.
• Carrying out psychosocial assessments and interventions as necessary to support patient recovery.
• Providing crisis intervention, bereavement support, and additional social work services as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations to protect both clients and fellow staff members.

You will engage with a diverse patient population, serving individuals from various age groups and backgrounds who experience a wide range of mental health challenges. The clients you support may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, family issues, and other mental health concerns, requiring a comprehensive, individualized approach to treatment. Your expertise will be key in helping these individuals navigate their challenges and achieve their personal goals.

• A bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or an equivalent credential.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in counseling services, demonstrating a robust ability to address complex mental health issues.
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with email platforms and word processing software.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills necessary for effective collaboration and documentation.

While the primary requirement is three years of experience, additional qualifications such as specialized training in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR) or experience with telehealth can further enhance your application. You should have a proven track record of managing diverse case loads and delivering effective treatment outcomes.
