Position Overview

Beautiful Minds Counseling Center is actively seeking a highly skilled and fully licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will deliver critical clinical services to individuals, couples, and families in a remote outpatient environment, providing therapeutic support tailored to each client’s unique needs. This position is crucial to fostering mental health and wellness within our community, with a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Work Environment

As a remote practitioner, you will have the flexibility to create a work-life balance that best suits your needs while serving our outpatient clients. Although remote, you will be part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team that values communication and collaboration. Our facility operates Monday through Saturday, allowing you the freedom to manage your schedule. We provide in-house credentialing and streamline your insurance participation and administrative tasks, enabling you to focus on what matters most – your clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for individuals, adolescents, couples, and families, applying therapeutic techniques that align with their diagnosed conditions.
• Initiate comprehensive treatment plans based on assessed needs and collaborate with clients to set achievable goals.
• Document and communicate patient progress during interdisciplinary meetings and rounds to ensure cohesive and coordinated care.
• Provide case management by liaising with healthcare professionals, community resources, and programs that support holistic client care.
• Ethically and promptly complete documentation in accordance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
• In addition to providing general counseling, utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities tailored to individual service plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges. This includes, but is not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, familial conflicts, and relationship issues. The center prides itself on inclusivity and cultural competence, ensuring every client feels understood, respected, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A commitment to working between 10 to 40 hours weekly, allowing for flexibility and adaptability in client scheduling.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating sound judgment and effective treatment planning.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in outpatient settings preferred, with familiarity in treating multiple mental health disorders.
• Proficiency in utilizing various therapeutic techniques, including CBT, to support clients in overcoming their challenges.
• A track record of successful collaboration with multidisciplinary teams or community resources to enrich patient support systems.
