  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to support clients' mental health goals.
  • Manage casework for assigned clients, coordinating with healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure continuity of care.
  • Timely and ethically complete documentation in accordance with the organization's standards and legal requirements.
  • Engage with clients over virtual platforms as necessary, ensuring that all sessions maintain the professionalism and confidentiality expected in a therapeutic setting.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of the Mental Health Counselor role is to support a diverse population, including children, adolescents, and adults, who face a variety of challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. • A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A commitment to working between 10 to 40 hours per week, with a willingness to increase as needed based on client demand and organizational needs.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in a community health clinic or outpatient practice is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in a variety of therapeutic modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, is a plus.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competence in therapy.
