Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Swing and Overnight Emergency Veterinarian to join our dedicated team either part time or full time.  In this role, you will provide high-quality emergency care during overnight shifts, collaborating with our experienced staff to ensure the best outcomes for our patients. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to advancing their knowledge in emergency medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality emergency veterinary care to a diverse range of cases.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations, develop treatment plans, and execute surgical interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with a team of veterinarians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with emergency veterinary practices.
Qualifications
  • DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in Mississippi.
  • Previous experience in emergency or critical care preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to client education.
