Job Description
The base salary for this position is $22.86 hourly.
As a Beach Club Attendant, you will create a welcoming and pampered experience for our guests through your friendly attitude and unobtrusive performance. Your responsibilities include:
  • Maintain beach areas, including chairs, lounges, halaus, and cabanas, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup throughout the day.
  • Provide excellent guest service by greeting visitors, offering amenities, and assisting with beach equipment rentals and activities.
  • Ensure safety and security in beach areas by monitoring conditions, posting safety signs, and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Participate in and lead beach activities for guests of all ages.
  • Maintain cleanliness of beach stations, glassware, and surrounding areas.
  • Assist with food and beverage service from the food truck as needed.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on beach equipment and report any issues promptly.
  • Stay informed about hotel amenities, local attractions, and current events to provide guests with relevant information.
  • Adhere to opening and closing procedures for the beach area.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

Physical demands include the ability to lift 50 pounds, swim 50 yards, and work in various outdoor weather conditions. Must be available for all shifts and hours.
Qualifications
Education:
  • Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • High school degree preferred.

Experience:
  • Prefer previous Pool & Beach and safety experience.

Other:
  • American Red Cross certification in First Aid, AED, and CPR preferred (or equivalent).
  • American Red Cross Lifeguard certification recommended (or equivalent).
