What are the main challenges a BCO faces in maintaining effective business continuity plans?

One of the primary challenges a BCO encounters is ensuring business continuity plans stay up-to-date with evolving business operations, technologies, and regulatory requirements. Regularly conducting risk assessments and coordinating cross-departmental exercises can be complex, especially in larger organizations. Despite these challenges, proactive planning and strong communication can greatly enhance organizational resilience and minimize downtime during unforeseen events.
