  • 36 universal beds (12 designated as intensive care rooms and 24 designated as acute care rooms)
  • 3 operating rooms
  • 2 endoscopy rooms and room to grow
  • Ronald McDonald House 2-bedroom suite and family respite space
  • 24 hr/day in-house coverage with PEM Physician, pediatric hospitalist, pediatric intensivist, pediatric anesthesiologist, and pediatric surgery APP
  • Other specialties available for consultation
Pediatric Emergency Department
  • Pediatric Volume: 17,000
  • Trauma Designation: Level III
  • ED Beds: 18
  • Staffing Model:
    • 24-hours of PEM Physician coverage per day
    • 8-22 hours of pediatrician/APP coverage per day
  • EMR: Cerner/CPOE and PowerNote Documentation
