We offer non-allopathic, integrative approaches, which are science-based, evidence-based therapies. These therapies target root causes, not just symptoms. They involve regeneration and wellness, not simply managing disease. We focus on health span over purely lifespan.
We are seeking driven for success, efficient, energetic RMAs or CMAs. Those only with an excellent work ethic AND attention to details should apply.
Those looking at future practice office management should also apply.
Your character, skills, education, and experiences are all KEYs to success. All team members are vital to the practice, regardless of part-time or full-time status. The medical provider cannot offer the highest level of care to practice members (patients) without the assistance of superb team members.
Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Advance the practice mission and vision:
III John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Administrative Duties:
Respond to practice member messages in the Message Center portion of the EMR, as well as through the intra-office email system.
YOU are the medical provider’s quality control gauge. You will NOT be bugging the medical provider, but will be keeping her from falling behind with outstanding practice members’ tasks. The medical provider greatly appreciates YOU making sure that all pertinent practice members’ messages have been tackled before leaving the clinic the same day.
Promptly document all correspondence (“If it wasn’t documented, it wasn’t done.”) in the EMR. This includes taking screenshots from the info account or from our BBM HIPAA compliant patient communication app. Place these screenshots into the practice member’s chart, etc.
Perform prior authorizations for insurance “covered” imaging studies. Spine and extremity-based MRIs, CTs, as well as thyroid ultrasounds are the most common studies.
Perform VERY RARE prior authorizations for conventional medications (Example: Cover My Meds e-requests)
Respond in a timely fashion to potential new practice member referrals. Time is of the essence. These are received usually via the general “info” email account, which is linked to the current practice website. Established and potential new practice member appointment requests will come from our marketing partner, Big Boost Marketing (BBM). Be very comfortable with using the BBM P2P app on your desktop (not on your cellphone) since you will use this for HIPAA compliant SMS communication +/- phone calls.
Fax records to approved entities.
Collect practice member payments (health investments) at check-in and provide practice member receipts.
Assist the medical provider with posting payments to the practice management system. (self-pay and WC [worker's compensation] payments) Worker’s compensation volume is intentionally getting phased out. Self-pay payment posting is quick and easy as long as the medical provider’s respective superbill has been completed.
Clinical Duties: (cross coverage)
Obtain vital signs, and other pertinent EMR chart information on scheduled established and new practice members.
Assist with fluoroscopic spine and joint injection therapy when RNs or EMT-Ps are tied up with performing IV infusions: IV infusions examples: ALA (alpha lipoic acid), amino acids, ascorbic acid (aka vitamin C), B complex, glutathione push, methylene blue, mistletoe, Myer’s cocktail, NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide), ozone and UV light (O3UV), polyMVA, procaine, therapeutic venipuncture, Venofer (iron), etc.
Recover practice members in the fluoro suite or in the recovery area, following fluoroscopic spine and intra-articular (IA) hip joint injection therapies.
Draw up medications for intranasal NAD, trigger points, IA, IM, SQ (most common peptides: sermorelin, wolverine, TB-500, TA-1, BPC-157, Epitalon, tirzepatide, etc.) and fluoroscopic guided injections.
Venipuncture for orthobiologic therapy
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) procedure assistance (This will be rare since the future focus is Men’s Health. Medical provider does not place hormone pellets in her male practice members. Better safer ways for hormone optimization in male practice members exist.)
