JOIN THE TEAM
FC Bayern is seeking a highly motivated and creative Fan Engagement & Project Manager (m|f|d) to lead fan engagement and drive Marketing initiatives across the Americas. Based in our New York office, this role combines project management, event execution, and strategic fan growth, while also supporting the efficient operation of our regional office and team. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and ensures FC Bayern's brand is authentically and effectively represented throughout the region. This position collaborates closely with headquarters in Munich and reports to both Co-Managing Directors, Americas.
Main Responsibilities
Fan Engagement & Growth
  • Design and deliver innovative fan experiences - both digital and in-person - that deepen connections with existing fans, attract new audiences in key markets, and reflect FC Bayern's brand values and regional objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to strengthen and expand the FC Bayern fan club network across the Americas.
  • Serve as the primary contact for FC Bayern fan clubs in North and South America, fostering strong relationships and supporting engagement initiatives.

Project & Event Management
  • Develop creative concepts and compelling pitch materials that showcase FC Bayern in the Americas, strengthening the club's visibility and driving deeper fan and partner engagement.
  • Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of fan events, club activations, and partner activations, including watch parties, fan club meet-ups, and commercial activations.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure seamless and high-quality execution.

Operations Management
  • Provide general assistance to the Americas team to support daily operations e.g. including stakeholder management, seasonal initiatives (e.g., holiday greetings), and administrative tasks.
  • Oversee office operations, including coordination with building facilities, staffing needs, and maintaining an efficient, well-organized work environment.

Professional Skills & Education
Required Skills & Experience
  • Degree in Management, Marketing, Events, or a related field
  • 3-4 years of experience in event and/or project management, ideally within sports, entertainment, or an agency setting.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects at once
  • Strong creative approach with innovative thinking, with an eye for fan-centric activations.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills; ability to craft compelling pitch decks
  • Strong knowledge and passion for soccer, particularly European football - Understanding of the FC Bayern brand and ability to represent it authentically in the Americas
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, global team environment.
