Job description

The HV Battery Rework Technicians will be expected to perform the following duties:
  • Repair High Voltage Battery packs based on engineering direction
  • Utilize overhead cranes and lifting devices
  • Load test articles into chambers
  • Perform Safety inspections on both dunnage as well as the batteries themselves
  • Complete continued training courses on new tech and safety procedures
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop best practices
  • Maintain lab equipment

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the battery industry
  • General mechanic knowledge
  • Ability to utilize provided tools
  • Basic knowledge of operating computers
  • Willingness to work in a team-based environment
  • Experience working with electrical components
  • Must be able to pass medical requirements: Respirator Usage
  • Ability to work in CAT4 HV Protection Suit

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or higher
  • Experience working with High Voltage
  • Strong knowledge of Battery Systems
