The Opportunity

We are currently partnering with a high-growth, stealth-mode battery startup in San Jose to find a Lab Technician. You will be working directly with a lean team of industry veterans who have built some of the most recognizable names in the EV and energy space.

The Role

As the Lab Technician, you are the backbone of the build-test-learn cycle. You will be responsible for the physical assembly and rigorous testing of next-gen prototypes. If you thrive in a lab where you can see the immediate results of your work and where speed is a priority, this is the environment for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the hands-on assembly of battery cells and modules. You will move from prototype to test in hours, not weeks.
  • Execute performance testing (cycling, rate capability, etc.) and ensure data collection is flawless for the engineering team.
  • Support engineers in experimental setups. When technical issues arise, you are part of the team that troubleshoots and clears the bottleneck.
  • Maintain the stealth standard by keeping meticulous records of test procedures and resultsthe data is the company's most valuable asset.
  • Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, high-functioning lab environment.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry, MaterialScience, or a related field. Ambitious students nearing completion are also encouraged to apply.
