Job description

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test, and optimize lithium batteries and systems.

Position Overview

Our Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, and optimization (sustaining) of (Lithium) batteries and systems.

Essential Functions
  • Design and develop new battery technologies, systems, and components.
  • Implement and maintain best practices in battery design, validation, and testing to ensure performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Optimize and introduce processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability in battery development and maintenance.
  • Conduct performance and safety testing of battery cells and packs.
  • Analyse data to evaluate battery efficiency, lifespan, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development and testing.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications.
  • Stay updated on advancements in battery materials and technologies.
  • Be the main contact for product management for all battery related questions.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in electrical development or a related domain.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of electrochemistry, material science, and physics.
  • Experience with battery testing equipment and characterization techniques.
