What You Will Do: Receives and records cash and/or charge payments. Balances cash receipts against register tape on a daily basis for the age population served, as defined in the department's scope of service.
  • Receive, record, and balance cash or charge payments from customers
  • Greet customers in a pleasant and respectful manner and display courtesy at all times
  • Calculate total cost of items and accept payment with accuracy
  • Balance cash register totals with currency at the end of each shift
  • Serve food to customers following established standards
  • Set up and maintain board menu to reflect current menu offerings
  • Arrange, replenish, and present food and service items according to standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of cafeteria, serving areas, equipment, and counters
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
