Job Title Part-Time Video Editor (Ads & Social Media Content) Job Type Part-time / Remote Work Hours PST Job Overview We're helping our client find a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Video Editor to produce high-converting ad videos and engaging social media content. In this role, you will edit short-form video ads, add motion graphics, and optimize content for platforms like Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Google Ads. Your work will directly impact campaign performance and brand consistency.

Responsibilities Edit short-form video ads (6–30 sec) for paid social (Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and e-commerce campaigns. Apply dynamic cuts, text overlays, motion graphics, and sound design to maximize engagement. Color correct, retouch, and optimize footage for different platforms (aspect ratios, captions, etc.).

Collaborate with marketers to align edits with campaign KPIs (CTR, conversions, retention). Repurpose long-form content (podcasts, tutorials) into snackable ad clips. Ensure brand consistency in tone, style, and messaging.

Manage multiple projects with quick turnaround times (1–3 days per edit). Must-Have 2+ years of video editing experience, preferably in ads, e-commerce, or agency environments. Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Basic knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics. Strong understanding of social media video specifications (9:16, 1:1, 4:5) and best practices. Portfolio or reel demonstrating high-energy, performance-driven ad edits (please include a link).

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Nice-to-Have Experience editing UGC-style ads or influencer content. Familiarity with AI video tools (e.g., Runway, Pika Labs) for quick asset generation.
