Job Description
The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing and organizing ingredients to support kitchen operations while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and efficiency in a fast-paced quick service restaurant environment.
Maintain proper and clean uniform at all times
Arrive on time and follow attendance policies
Prepare ingredients including chopping, slicing, portioning, and labeling
Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and FIFO procedures
Maintain correct food temperatures and storage conditions
Assist cooks with food preparation and station setup
Keep prep areas clean, sanitized, and organized
Stock and replenish kitchen supplies as needed
Follow all side duties assigned by management
