Job description

The House Person is responsible for maintaining organization and cleanliness in hotel hallways and employee areas. Ensures all assigned spaces meet the established quality and safety standards.

Duties:

  • Promote positive guest relations and attend to our guests' needs.

  • Deliver items requested by guests in a timely manner.

  • Vacuum two complete hallways per day.

  • Remove trash from Room Attendant carts and other areas.

  • Remove linen from Room Attendant carts and put down the linen chute.

  • Move linen to stationary carts at the end of each shift.

  • Follow all departmental and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Experience preferred, but not required.

  • Must be able to stand/walk for entire shift.

  • Must be able to push/pull heavy Houseperson carts of linen and trash.

  • Basic English is preferred.
