Delivery Manager

Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite) Full time only

The pay range for this role is $135k - $140k per annum

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Manager to lead our software development initiatives at BASF. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Delivery Management, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a proven track record in managing software development teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage software development projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Oversee the delivery management process, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting on project progress.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Implement best practices in software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
  • Mentor and guide software development teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive communication with stakeholders.
  • Manage resource allocation and team performance, ensuring optimal utilization of skills and capabilities.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proven experience in Delivery Management within a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

  • Experience in managing remote or distributed teams.
